As I mentioned in one of the previous posts that I would be whipping up a new layout for Glamorous Kate of the lovely outtakes from Allure that Kate Beckinsale did a while ago, so here it is! I worked 4 hours on this baby to prep it for viewing. I hope it is viewable in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Beckinsale wins £20K over claimFriday, July 10th, 2009Actress Kate Beckinsale accepted £20,000 libel damages yesterday over a newspaper claim that she was going to miss out on her dream role as “sexy heroine Barbarella”. The Pearl Harbor star, 35, was not at London”s High Court for the settlement of her action against Express Newspapers. Her solicitor, Graham Atkins, told Mr Justice Eady that the story in the Daily Express was entirely false and had caused considerable embarrassment. He added that Miss Beckinsale was never in discussions about the role and had not been passed over in favor of actress Rose McGowan, as the story claimed. The newspaper apologized.
