Hello Everyone! I have put up a new layout which is a much darker one. Since Kate’s new movie Underworld Awakening will be out in theaters in a couple months, I wanted to make an Underworld-ish layout. This time it features animations from the official trailer in the layout header. I hope you like it and that it’s viewable for everyone.

Hello Everyone! I assume that you all are probably wondering what’s going on an etc etc. Well after 1 month of departure I felt like I did something wrong, I felt like I had something special deleted. So I am here to say that Glamorous Kate is back online, with all it’s original content thanks to my awesome host who restored the site for me. If you ever need a high quality reliable free fan site host, choose Gertie, she’s the best! Anywho, like I said, the site is back an I will be looking forward to continuing on with updates (I got my Kate mojo back weee!) and possibly coming up with a new layout b/c this one has been up for ages even though I do really fancy the colors. So please look forward for new updates.

I have added DVD captures of Kate Beckinsale in the 2002 film Laurel Canyon to the gallery. I will also be capping Kate’s other movies too so I will have the DVD capture section almost pretty complete.

I am sorry to say but the forum has been removed due to spammers. As soon as I delete the spam messages & the accounts, more arrives a short time later. I don’t have time to monitor the boards for spam-bots so therefore it was removed. That is one of the major fall downs to a forum, you can’t hardly ever get rid or prevent spam.

Some people say she is sporting a baby bump, but I just say its the way her shirt is. Oh and some news on Kate’s rumoring projects, she is official signed on to do the Total Recall remake.

I am putting kbeckinsale.com on an open hiatus for a few months due to my lack of desire to run this website. I still like Kate but my motivation is severally lacking in her movie department. Over the past few years I haven’t been overly fond of her projects that she has been in. Some of you fans probably have, but I haven’t an its hard updating a site when your not very keen on what they’ve been doing so that’s the purpose of this open hiatus. If my lack of motivation doesn’t go away within a few months then I sadly may not keep this site open. So Gertie if you see this, please don’t think this site is inactive or abandon, I am taking a break from it to think discussions over. Hope you understand.

UPDATE (May 20): I have decided to keep this site as I would probably miss it if I let it go. So kbeckinsale.com is here to stay.

The ‘Underworld’ actress has been offered the role of Lori – the difficult wife of lead character Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) – in the remake of the 1990 sci-fi thriller which is being directed by her husband Len Wiseman.

A number of actresses including Eva Green, Eva Mendes, Rosario Dawson and Paula Patton are said to have auditioned for the two main female roles with Jessica Biel reported to have landed the part of Melina, who helped protagonist Douglas solve a futuristic scandal on Mars in the original film, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as Douglas Quaid

The original film tells the story of Douglas, a construction worker who thinks he’s a secret agent, but the new version – based on a script written by James Vanderbilt and Mark Bomback – will be closer to the book it was based on ‘We Can Remember It for You Wholesale’ by Philip K. Dick.

Producer Neal Moritz said: “It’s closer to the book, the big difference is we don’t go to space. Instead of it being a spaceship that takes us to another planet, there’s something that takes us from one side of the planet to another that’s really interesting.”

Shooting on ‘Total Recall’ is set to begin in Canada on May 15.

Production is underway in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the 4th installment in the highly successful Screen Gems/Lakeshore Entertainment Underworld franchise. Underworld 4: New Dawn brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans, as the first film in the franchise to shoot in 3D.

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.


India Eisley (pictured inside) is the newest cast member, starring as “Eve” (Selene’s daughter?), while the previously announced Michael Ealy takes on the role of “Detective Sebastian”. Sandrine Holt (Starship Troopers 2, Resident Evil: Apocalypse ) and Robert Lawrenson round out the cast.

Underworld 4, scheduled to arrive in theaters January 20, 2012, is helmed by Swedish directors Mans Marlind & Bjorn Stein, who co-directed the 2009 thriller Shelter starring Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Their feature credits also include the award-winning Swedish film Storm.

Producing are Tom Rosenberg (The Lincoln Lawyer, Million Dollar Baby,), Gary Lucchesi (The Lincoln Lawyer, Million Dollar Baby, Underworld), Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free Or Die Hard) and Richard Wright (The Lincoln Lawyer, Underworld). The film’s executive producers are David Kern (The Lincoln Lawyer, Fame), David Coatsworth (John Adams, Grey Gardens) Henry Winterstern (Conan The Barbarian, Underworld Evolution) and Skip Williamson (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Crank).

The screenplay for Underworld 4 is by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Underworld: Evolution), John Hlavin (The Shield), and Allison Burnett (Gone, Fame).
