The lovely Kate Beckinsale’s popular and most well known character of Underworld, Selene has been pumpkin-fied! Every year at FEARnet celebrates 31 days of Horror, Thriller, and suspense movies. One of their main events is Pumkin Palooza where each day of the 31 days, Russ Leno carves a pumpkin of a specific horror, thriller, or suspense movie icon character. And us lucky Kate fans, today he carved out Kate’s lycan slaying death dealer Selene. Check it out below and a big thanks to Allie from FEARnet for emailing me this info.

Kate Beckinsale is declared the Sexiest Woman Alive by the popular men’s magazine, Esquire. Earlier in September the site left clues and hints as to the cover girls identity. Some of the clues were such as:

She is emetophobic.

She is multilingual.

She has been in the same room with Michael Bay at least once.

She hates wearing underwear.

She shares a birthday with three notable actors, two of whom have starred in a film together.

She is not Channing Tatum.

An if you do a little searching an a little digging all the clues above pointed to Kate Beckinsale. On Esquire, you can view the video made and directed by the famous photographer Greg Williams. The November 2009 Esquire issue hits stands everywhere October 10th. Make sure you go and buy your copy when it hits news stands in your area!

Kate Beckinsale will discuss her new movie, Whiteout, Sept. 10 on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“She’s in the upcoming thriller Whiteout, which takes place in Antarctica, but I’m more than happy to just turn up the air conditioner for her,” DeGeneres wrote in a message to her fans.

Kate portrays Carrie Stetko in the movie. Stetko is a U.S. marshal trying to bring a killer to justice on the eve of a six-month sunset on the continent.

The movie is scheduled for release in the U.S. on Sept. 11.

Kate’s latest hit movie is Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.

She is best known for her roles as Nurse Lt. Evelyn Johnson in Pearl Harbor, Anna Valerious in Van Helsing, Ava Gardner in The Aviator, and Selene in Underworld and Underworld: Evolution.

You don’t know how happy and giddy I am right now! Glamorous Kate won Dawn’s Choice for the fan site awards over at Charismatic Awards. This makes my 2nd award won for this site on the lovely Kate Beckinsale.
